Birds, Bees, AND Fleas!
 Our Thoughts:
We often talk about our children knowing about the 'bird and bees' (what we, as parents, should be teaching our
children about their bodies). But, we never mention to them about 'fleas'! No, I've not 'lost it'. 'Fleas' are a major concern in a child's life!
Fleas get on your dogs and cats, and give them a rough time, making them scratch, and giving them no mercy! 'Fleas' of the world prey on our children,
getting them into drugs, promiscuity, and disobedience to their parents. They distract from their studies, resulting in failing grades. They teach them that it's okay
to 'do your thing', report your parents for 'abuse' (a simple tongue lecture can get you in court now days!). 'Fleas' are a definite problem with our young!
Our children need to be taught about 'flea protection' from a very young age. No, not about Raid, flea powder, but about the God 'of enough', the Almighty,
who can guide them into a life of peace and tranquility. He can give them what no other can give - protection from the 'fleas'!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 119:77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Isaiah 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us stop the fleas from reaching our innocent children. We place them in your hands, to lead, guide, and direct their lives. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
